LeCroy’s Beta Test Program

LeCroy will make available software that is in active development to qualifying participants for installation and use on their signals. The purpose of our beta test program is to permit our software to be tested in environments beyond what we can test at LeCroy. Not only does this help us to ensure the software is first-rate, but it also gives you the opportunity to make sure that the final software release meets the needs of your company.

Before its official release, a beta version ALWAYS undergoes a full cycle of internal testing to ensure that it is stable and performs as we expect it to. A beta test cycle will typically last between 6 to 8 weeks. There may be several beta versions available during that period.

Release notes will be supplied with each beta version. The release notes will list the system requirements, changes since the previous version and descriptions of known problems (if any) and other relevant information.

Participating in beta testing enables you to:

  •  Get early access to product and/or new features.
  •  Free technical support throughout the duration of the beta test period.
  •  One-on-one contact with the Development team, Product Management, Marketing, etc.,
  •  Participate in product training sessions.
  •  Resulting knowledge gained from participating on the beta test program.

When taking part in the beta testing it is necessary that you:

  • Must have the required LeCroy equipment
  • Must spend a reasonable amount of time on familiarizing yourself with the product and testing it;
  • Test the product, including potentially patentable features, for the intended application
  • Report defects found during beta testing.
  • Provide suggestions on ways to improve the product being tested;
  • Provide overall feedback to development on reliability, stability, and readiness of product and features therein for marketplace.
