WaveRunner Xi-AのLabNotebookは、作業内容の保存と文書化を行うためのレポート作成ツールです。LabNotebookを使用するだけで、表示中の波形、WaveRunner Xi-Aの設定情報や画面イメージなどをすべて保存できるため、複数のメニューを操作して各ファイルを個別に保存する必要はありません。

WaveRunner Xi-Aには、次の例に示すように、同等クラスのオシロスコープでは利用できない数多くのデバッグ機能と分析機能があります。

条件は、バイナリ形式または16進形式(CANではシンボリック形式)で設定できます。

より深い洞察とデバッグのために、特定のメッセージ・イベントを完全に分 離します。条件付きDATAトリガ機能 (対応可能なデータはI2C 、UART 、RS-232、LIN、FlexRay)を使用すると、単一のDATA値だけではなく、一定範囲のDATA値を選択してトリガを設定できます。
高度なソフトウェア・アルゴリズムによって、波形情報から2進形式、16進形式、またはASCII形式のプロトコル情報が引き出された後、デコード済みのデータが波形に重ねられます。プロトコルの様々な部分は理解しやすいように色分けされます。長い捕捉データでも高速のデコード処理が可能です。
プロトコル情報の要約をテーブル形式で表示する簡易プロトコル・アナライザとしてオシロスコープを使用できます。テーブルのカスタマイズ機能や、テーブル・データをExcelファイルにエクスポートする機能があります。テーブル内のメッセージにタッチすると、そのメッセージに関連する波形が自動的にズーム表示されます。スキャン済みのデータ内で特定のアドレスやデータ値を検索することもできます。
32本のデジタル・チャンネルを4チャンネルのWaveRunner Xiシリーズに追加し、簡単なセットアップとユーザー・インタフェースで、オシロスコープの検査機能を「4アナログ+32デジタル」に拡張することができます。各デジタル・チャンネルは1 Mpts/Ch (合計32 Mpts) であり、効率的なデバッグと解析に必要なすべての信号情報が収集されます。32本のデジタル・チャンネルは16ビットの組み込み型コントローラの効率的なテストに理想的なソリューションであり、16本のアドレス(ADDR)ラインと16本のデータ(DATA)ラインをすべて同時に表示してテストを実行することができます。

シーケンス・モードを使用すると、最大10,000個のイベントを「セグメント」としてオシロスコープのメモリに保存で きます。これは短時間に連続する多数の 高速パルスを捕捉したり(トリガの繰り 返し時間が最も重要な場合)、長時間に 時折発生するイベントの捕捉(最長捕捉 時間が最も重要な場合)に理想的です。シーケンス・モードでは、4チャンネルを同時に捕捉して、捕捉を実行するたび にタイムスタンプ(1nsの分解能)が付きます。デッド・タイムが最小限に抑え られ(800ns以下)、セグメント化され た捕捉データは様々な方法で表示および 解析できます。シーケンス・モードと高度なトリガを組み合わせて希なイベントを分離し、数時間または数日単位ですべてのイベントを 捕捉してから、各イベントを表示および 解析します。
