Santa Clara, CA, August 9, 2007 – LeCroy Corporation, a leading supplier of oscilloscopes and serial data test solutions, today released software enhancements that add native support for Windows Vista to its industry leading USB analyzer family. Interest in connecting protocol test equipment directly to Windows Vista-based PCs is growing due to the popularity of laptops in engineering environments. The LeCroy USB software release v2.5 is available for download now and also includes new device class decodes for specialized upper-level protocols including IP, IrDA, ATAPI, and HTTP.

Universal Serial Bus (USB) has emerged as the one of the main interfaces for attaching test and measurement equipment to the Microsoft Windows-based PCs and is the primary control interface for many of the LeCroy analysis instruments. This update is available for the LeCroy USBTracer/Trainer, USB Advisor, and USB Mobile High-Speed.
