XDEV Customization Package lets you modify, expand, and integrate your own measurements from within your LeCroy Oscilloscope, making your design and debug time more efficient.

Along with LeCroy’s X-Stream architecture that yields fast update results of one measurement or a chain of operations, LeCroy offers many advanced software options to target your specific applications.

XDEV Customization Package
Only LeCroy completely integrates third party programs into the scope’s processing stream by allowing you to create and deploy a new measurement or math algorithm directly into the WaveShape Analysis Engine and display the result on the DSO in real-time! There is no need to run a separate program, or ever leave the scope window. With the XDEV Advanced Customization package, you extend your LeCroy X-Stream DSO to include your most recent in house proprietary algorithms the same day they are created.

Unsurpassed Customization Capability
The LeCroy X-Stream Scope design incorporates a fast, robust COM-based architecture that provides a level of customization that simply cannot be approached by any other oscilloscope. It allows you to create your own script in your favorite programming language (Visual Basic, C, C++), which can then be integrated seamlessly into the WaveShape Analysis engine with the results shown on the oscilloscope display.

Seamlessly Integrate Third-Party Applications
With the XDEV Advanced Customization package thirdparty applications such as Excel, and MATLAB become part of your LeCroy X-Stream DSO allowing you to fully integrate your measurements. Analyze your data in a thirdparty application installed on your oscilloscope and display XDEV the results in your LeCroy XStream DSO.

Create Custom Measurements and Math Functions
With XDEV you are able to create your own custom measurement parameters and math functions allowing for limitless analysis capability. Use your own proprietary measurements in the scope for faster results. Also with XDEV you need only to set up a measurement once and let the scope do it repetitively for you with XDEV’s support for macro keys to run your custom VBScript files.

Customizable User Interface
CustomDSO allows you to create setups that can be called by the touch of a single button. The recalled setups can include other setups. This allows you to setup rings of three or more setups as well as trees of setups. CustomDSO also allows you to add your own ActiveX controls to a setup. With ActiveX controls you can create your own user interfaces to suit your own preferences.

Plug-Ins

XDEV allows you to plug-in a custom ActiveX Control designed in an environment like Visual Studio in Visual Basic, and merge this GUI with the scope user interface. This feature opens up the door to a huge variety of applications previously not possible or possible only via remote control from an external PC. 

FastWavePort
FastWavePort is a processing function for LeCroy X-Stream oscilloscopes that enables you to insert your own custom processing algorithm, written in the C/C++ language, into the oscilloscopes processing stream. FastWavePort maximizes data throughput from the acquisition system to your processing function.
