New ScopeExplorer Version 2.21

• New: Interactive scope panels updated to include the WavePro, Waverunner, DDA, LC series, LSA, and 93xx models.

WavePro and Waverunner network Support

• New: On WavePro and Waverunner oscilloscopes and the DDA260 with the 10 Base T Ethernet option, you get full use of the new features with a network connection between the oscilloscope and a PC running ScopeExplorer Version 2.21; Drag and drop files between media or between the scope and your PC, execute panel setups and Custom.dso files, annotate and print screen shots, and more.
  

Store and Annotate screen shots

Annotate displayed images before printing, saving, or copying to clipboard. Create multiple annotations for screen shots with your choice of color and font. It's easy to click and drag the annotation to the location desired. Once annotated a click on the print icon will let you print to the printer of your choice. You can even annotate 93XX series oscilloscopes in color!

• New: Options to print or save to a file, screen images on a white background in color, with an improved color scheme, or in monochrome are now available.
  

• New: Annotations are now included when screen images are saved to a file.

• New: On WavePro; drag and drop CustomDSO files to and from the new non-volatile Virtual Disk (VDISK).
  

• Display and access files on storage media, including PC-Cards, hard drives, and floppy disks that are inserted in a scope drag and drop, copy/paste, edit/run.
  

• Click and sort files by type, name, date, etc 
  

• Click and edit or run CustomDSO files.
  

• Click and load panel settings.

• Supports operation of up to 4 GPIB cards.

ScopeExplorer System Requirements

• Personal Computer running either Windows XP or Windows2000.
  

• 8Mbytes RAM, 10Mb HDD space free.
  

• GPIB interface card (National Instruments 'TNT' card is recommended) running 32-bit drivers. All LeCroy remote control software is designed to operate with National Instruments (NI) GPIB adapters. Our software calls NI software driver routines specific to the NI products and will no work with GPIB adaptors that use other drivers.

Or an Ethernet Interface running TCP/IP (if connected to WavePro, Waverunner, or LSA1000 Ethernet port)

Or Standard RS232 port (5 wire interface, supporting hardware handshake)

• LeCroy DSOs supported; WavePro, Waverunner, LC series and the 93xx series and LeCroy Disk Drive Analyzers. The 9400 family is also supported, but with limited features.

  1) WavePro and Waverunner should be at firmware version 8.7.0 or above to take advantage of many of the features. Firmware upgrade is recommended for scopes with firmware revisions earlier than version 7.2.0. Please contact your service center or call 1-800-5-LeCroy for upgrade information.
