LeCroy’s WaveMaster 830 Zi Oscilloscope was the first oscilloscope on the market to provide the high bandwidth and the critical signal fidelity necessary for measurements that ensure high-speed designs can achieve their targeted levels of performance. Since January 2009, the WaveMaster 8 Zi oscilloscopes and product development teams have been part of critical experiments and demonstrations that prove the viability of the newest high-speed serial data links.

Building on the capabilities of SiGe high-speed components and Digital Bandwidth Interleave (DBI) technology, the sixth-generation of DBI technology has recently been successfully demonstrated in LeCroy design labs in New York. This latest generation technology will use new front-end chips, which provide lower noise and higher native bandwidths to enhance the use of signal integrity tools that de-embed cables and test fixtures, emulate serial data channels, and simulate serial data receiver equalization even at the highest sampling speeds.
