イザ(DDA)は、製品開発期間の短
縮や、既存ドライブの障害解析の効率
化に役立つ、HDD開発エンジニアの
ための統合ツールです。DDA 7Ziシ
リーズはレクロイのDDAの伝統を受
け継いだ統合ソリューションであり、
強力なディスク・ドライブ解析ツール
セットを備えています。高速で複雑な
ドライブ信号の波形の捕捉、表示、解
析を高精度かつ迅速に行うことができ
ます。設計上の問題解決やメディアの
特性分析を行うときにはデータの複数
のセクターや複雑なトラックの捕捉が
重要になるため、データ・ストレー
ジ・アプリケーションではメモリが大
量に消費されます。DDA 7Ziシリー
ズでは、X-Stream IIアーキテクチャ
を通じて、ディスク・ドライブ信号の
高速かつ正確な測定と解析が可能で
す。メモリ・オプションLを使用する
と、1チャンネルあたりのメモリを最
大128Mポイント(2チャンネル構成
では1チャンネルあたり最大256Mポ
イント)に拡張できます。2つのモデ
ル(DDA 760ZiおよびDDA 735Zi)
の両方で、入力として50Ω_または1
MΩ_を選択できます。20Mポイント
の波形メモリが標準装備され、2つの
チャンネル上で40 Gs/秒の高速捕捉
がサポートされるため、複数のドライ
ブ・セクターを同時に捕捉することが
できます。
柔軟な障害検出とロング・メモリ
最高6GHzのヘッド信号を捕捉した
後、フロント・パネルからその信号を
即座にズーム(QuickZoom)するこ
とができます。ドライブ信号はDDA
によって自動的にコピー・拡張されま
す。個々のセクターを検証するには、
縦方向または横方向のスクロールを行
います。マルチズーム機能を使用する
と、ヘッド信号の別々の領域を最高8
個まで表示できます(各ズームは別々
の色で示されます)。ディスク・ドライ
ブ・パラメータを使用すると、特定の
領域におけるS/N比やパルス幅変動
の特性を分析できます。障害分析を行
うエンジニアは、理想的な基準波形お
よびパネル・セットアップの保存と呼
出しを通じて、問題のあるドライブと
正常なドライブを比較することができ
ます。最高40 GS/秒の速度で動作す
るA/Dコンバータは、高速化が進む、
リードチャネルの測定をより高精度に
測定することができます。独自に開発
したスクリプトをDDA上で実行する
と、捕捉信号を特定のチャンネルやメ
ディアに適合したフィルタを通して表

スクリプトは、MATLAB、Visual

例外トリガとシーケンス・パフォーマンス
DDAのディスク・トリガでは、信号内
で一連のイベントを設定し、それらの
イベントに対して、トリガをかけるこ
とができます。たとえば、インデック
ス信号を基準として、そのトラックの
全セクターの情報を収拾することがで
きます。DDA 7Ziシリーズにはロン
グメモリを搭載することができるた

高15,000個のセクターのデータを
