ビークル・バス・アナライザによる独自の解析
ビークル・バス・アナライザ(VBA)は、CANシリアル・データをシンボリック(アプリケーション層)にデコードできる最初の汎用オシロスコープです。VBAの登場により、エンジニアは初めて、CANプロトコル・スタック情報(シンボリック、16進、電気信号)を全ての層にわたって解析できると同時に、CANに影響を与えるインサーキット電気信号(センサー入力、電圧レベル、過渡電圧など)を詳細に表示できるようになりました。さらに、最大4個の異なるCANの信号を同時にデコードできます。オシロスコープの標準ツールと特殊ツールを使用して、デザインの確認とデバッグを行うこともできます。

高速デバッグを妨げる障壁の除去
意味が分かるシンボリック・デコーディング/トリガリングでは、イベントを高速かつ直感的に分析することが可能です。既存のDBCデータベース・ファイルをオシロスコープに読み込み(データの再入力は不要)、CANメッセージ・トラフィックを捕捉すると、すべての電気信号、プロトコル(16進)情報、シンボリック(アプリケーション層)情報が即座にオシロスコープの画面に表示されます。
オシロスコープの標準ツールとVBAの特殊ツールを使用して、希なイベントの検出、測定の自動実行とイベント・タイミングの統計解析、情報(たとえば、抽出したCANメッセージ・データ)のグラフ表示/プロットなどを行うことができます。

単一の統合ツールによる生産性の向上
VBAは、すべての情報を同じ画面で確認できます。VBAにより、複数のゲートウェイにわたるタイミング測定が可能になりました。高速かつ直感的な分析ができます。使い慣れた操作で、すべてのECUまたは回路動作を時系列に従って、詳細かつ簡単に分析できます。時間のかかる分析や問題解決は既に過去のものとなりました。

ユニークな測定ツール
VBAを使用すると、他の機器では不可能な数多くの測定が可能になります。VBAでは、タイミング測定を実行するほかにも、CANメッセージ・ストリームからCANデータを抽出し、そのCANデータをオシロスコープの画面上にグラフィック形式でプロットして、個々のCANデータを他の電気信号と比較することができます。この例では、ステアリング角度とステアリング角度変化率をCANメッセージ捕捉から抽出し、それらのデータを10進数に変換した後、
VBAの画面上に時系列トラックとしてプロットしています。
