  • 13 month warranties on PCI Express, PCI, Conquest USB Standard Edition, USBMobile T2, and Storage protocol analyzers
  • 90 day warranties on all card-based analyzers (i.e. Edge T1), production products, and PSG probes
  • 1 year warranties on sampling oscilloscopes and associated plug-in modules
  • 7 year long term product repair support after a product has been discontinued
  • Product calibration support guaranteed for 7 years after the product is discontinued and best efforts after 7 years.

How do I get my instrument serviced?

Using the list provided below, contact the service center nearest you and provide the instrument model and serial number. Once we determine the warranty status of the instrument, we will issue you a Return Authorization (RA) number. Ship the instrument to us and reference that RA number. We strive to turn around repairs in 5 days.

LeCroy Oscilloscope Warranty Statement

LeCroy warrants its digital oscilloscopes to operate within specifications under normal use and service for a period of three years from the date of shipment. [*see NOTE] All other instruments, including sampling oscilloscopes and associated plug-in modules but excluding protocol analyzers, are warranted for one year. LeCroy warrants its probes to operate within specifications under normal use and service for a period of one year from the date of shipment. AP015 Current Probes are warranted for 3 years. Component products, replacement parts, and repairs are warranted for 90 days. Software is thoroughly tested but is supplied as-is, with no warranty of any kind covering detailed performance. Accessory products not manufactured by LeCroy are covered by the original equipment manufacturer’s warranty only. In exercising this warranty, LeCroy will repair or, at its option, replace any product returned to the factory or an authorized service facility within the warranty period, provided the warrantor’s examination discloses that the product is defective due to workmanship or materials and has not been caused by misuse, neglect, accident, or abnormal conditions or operations. The purchaser is responsible for the transportation and insurance charges arising from the return of products to the servicing facility. LeCroy will return all in-warranty products with transportation prepaid. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness, or adequacy for any particular purpose or use. LeCroy will not be liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages, whether in contract or otherwise.

LeCroy Protocol Analyzer Warranty Statement

LeCroy Conquest USB Standard Edition, USBMobile T2, Fibre Channel, Infiniband, PCI, PCIe, SAS, and SATA protocol systems and plug in modules are warranted to operate within our documented specifications for 13 months. All other LeCroy protocol systems, PeRT3 systems and plug in modules are warranted to operate within our documented specifications for 36 months. All card-based analyzers (i.e. Edge T1 and SPX), production products, and probes are warranted to operate within our documented specifications for 90 days from date of purchase. All accessories, adapters, cables, and extenders are warranted to operate within our documented specifications for 30 days from date of purchase. LeCroy refurbished equipment shall include warranty consistent with this policy, unless otherwise stated on the quote. Products shall be classified for respective warranty periods at LeCroy’s sole discretion. Under this warranty any product that fails to perform within its specifications as a result of defects in workmanship or material will be replaced or restored to its specified operating condition. The repair will occur at no charge except for transportation costs to the LeCroy factory or LeCroy PSG authorized service center. This warranty shall be invalidated as a result of misuse, modification or repair by anyone other than LeCroy or a LeCroy PSG authorized service center. If a returned product is found to not be covered by this warranty, any repair costs and transportation costs to return the unit to the purchaser shall be borne by the purchaser. An approved Return Material Authorization from LeCroy is required to make claims under this warranty. The warranty period begins from the date of shipment FROM LeCroy regardless of the shipment terms of the purchase order. In addition, the following products may be returned to LeCroy for a full refund, excluding shipping charges, within 30 days from the date of shipment: LeCroy’s Conquest Standard Edition products, LeCroy’s USBMobile PDQ and LeCroy’s USBMobile Standard. These products must be returned in a sellable condition and contain all items originally shipped to the customer.

Long Term Support for Discontinued Oscilloscope Products  

The "Long Term Product Support" period for LeCroy oscilloscope products begins on the last date of manufacture of the product. For a period of 7 years thereafter, LeCroy will provide technical support, calibration and repair services*, and software upgrades to the last-issued revision. After 7 years of Long Term Support, LeCroy oscilloscope products will receive "Limited Support". LeCroy will continue to provide calibration services or instructions. Repair services and technical support will be provided for an additional year (making a total of 8 years). All support in the Limited Support phase will be provided on a best efforts basis.

*In rare cases where a unique component may not be available, LeCroy will assist the customer in migrating to a replacement product.
